Join us to celebrate the Farm-to-Every-Fork movement in greater Sacramento at Root Down, Rise Up 2025!

Presented in partnership with Touchstone Brewing Company, this afternoon fundraiser for Alchemist Community Development Corporation (Alchemist CDC) will offer delicious food and drinks, live music, and a great time!

Through hard work and a unique climate, the greater Sacramento region enjoys an abundance of delicious, locally-produced foods. Alchemist CDC works to ensure that the benefits of being the Farm-to-Fork Capital reach all of our neighbors, whether through delivering emergency grocery to families of school children, cultivating community gardens, creating opportunities for small local farms, ensuring that farmers’ markets are accessible and affordable for everyone, or equipping new food entrepreneurs to start successful food businesses!

We will also be honoring Alchemist CDC’s Volunteer of the Year and Alchemist Champion of the Year!

In the event of a hot day, this indoor/outdoor event will have indoor A/C and outdoor shade and misters to keep you cool and fresh.

The event is family-friendly and ticketed children are welcome to attend with their adults! Please note: this event will be as enjoyable as ever for adults, but we are ensuring it will be welcoming and fun for kids to come along.

This Fundraiser Event Will Include:

• A limited release specially-brewed beer for the occasion (more information to come!)
• 2 premium drinks included for adult guests
• Free non-premium drinks
• Seasonal, farm-to-fork appetizers (including vegan options)
• Coffee and dessert from Alchemist Kitchen Incubator businesses
• Live music
• Free face painting for the young and young-at-heart
• A special Makers’ Market with packaged food products for sale from Alchemist Kitchen Incubator businesses and small farms (all paid ticketed guests will receive a $5 voucher to spend at the mini market!)
• Kids’ outdoor activity area
