Thank you!

Root Down, Rise Up 2026 was an incredible success! Alchemist CDC’s signature annual fundraiser returned home to Oak Park for an open house-style garden party.

Held alongside Oak Park’s First Friday activities, the evening celebrated the people, places, and partnerships that bring Alchemist CDC’s work to life. Guests were invited to explore the garden at their own pace, connect with one another, and experience our work across food access, economic empowerment, and community-based placemaking.
