The Valley Hi Urban Farm Stand, which closed in 2012, provided access to fresh fruits and vegetables at a convenient location and brought positive activity to the area.
This project also included a youth development component. Our thanks go out to our youth interns, Siaka Konneh and Tony Bounpang. These youth learned job skills, served as outreach and healthy eating ambassadors in their neighborhoods, and provided a valuable contribution to the success of this project.
