Sosa, Communications Associate at Sacramento Region Community Foundation in his blog entry about resolutions for the New Year, the Sacramento area has some amazing nonprofits that can help everyone stay true to their resolutions all year long, including Alchemist CDC which he aligns with the ever popular “eating healthy” resolution.

Sosa writes, “Losing weight often connects to eating healthy, and nonprofits in our region are making healthy food choices accessible to everyone. Alchemist CDC, for example, is implementing CalFresh payment processing at Sacramento area Farmers’ Markets, aiming to “make fresh produce more accessible to low-income individuals, while simultaneously increasing the sales for small-midsize farmers in California.”
